Our goals

The Smart Factory, based on the core element "workstation chip sorting machine", produces key transponders for electronically secured locks as a full automatic key transponder production line. The key transponders are produced in three different colours, to use the reserved user permission, for example for different groups (CEO, normal Worker...). The following production process will be realized in the Smart Factory: Customers can order three different color variants of key transponders for the respective group of persons via an online shop. After that, the key transponder is produced by a 3D printer and provided with an RFID chip. Subsequently the RFID chip is equipped with the necessary data. After the key transponder has been manufactured, it is transferred unsorted to a high-rack warehouse. The key transponders are then placed in the magazine of the full automatic key transponder production line by use of the handling device in accordance with a still to be determined order (such as postcode, order date, number). At the workstation „chip sorting machine“ always one key transponder will be transported into the integrated paint shop. After painting, the key transponder is driven to the camera to perform the quality control of the paint job. If no rework is necessary, the quality check data will be written onto the RFID chip (authorizations, number, test protocol) . Finally, the key transponder is sorted according to user groups (for example colours) in the boxes and removed by a portal robot (3 or 6 axis). The entire order, production and picking process is recorded in a database with timestamp and location (for example position in the production process). Evaluations and visualizations of the data enable the entire process to be tracked in real time.
